Using the local DNS records
You can use Pi hole simply as the DNS in your network, without having to fuzz with your router. Make sure all relevant devices are using your Pi hole as the DNS. Then go to “Local DNS records” and link an domain to an IP. That’s it.
Tip: Don’t use .local domain endings. On some systems trying to reach these domains does not work. Rather, use .home or .lan endings.
